A brand new Volvo Truck (2010) & Trash Compactor
funded by Royal Danish Representative Office-Ramallah
at $101,238.00.
In effort to continue the cooperation with Riwaq for
conservation of Taybeh’s Historic Center, the Al-Hajal
House in the Old City will be totally renovated and
will be used by the Taybeh Municipality and center for
Taybeh Cooperation for Country Development. Funded by
Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) at $120,000.00
Enhancing infrastructure of main road leading to Old
City with new stone tile including phone, electrical
and sewage underground funded by CHF International at
$128,000.00
Paved Road (Ein Seenia) parallel to main Taybeh Road
funded by special municipality fund from Ministry of
Local Government at $23,500.
Paved Mousa Khoury Road connecting Latin Church with
Orthodox Church funded by Royal Danish Representative
Office-Ramallah at $16,500.00 & Mr. Tony Nazal $3,000.
Paved Hanna Meqbel Road leading to Taybeh Municipality
in front of Cemetery funded by Finish Representative
Office-Ramallah at $13,000 and Palestinian Ministry
of Finance $11,000.00.
Side walks were created and stone walls were built
on several Taybeh Roads funded by Pontifical Mission
- Jerusalem at $16,500.00.
Taybeh Municipality Hall was refurbished and a new
outdoor stage created at $10,000.00
Several eternal roads of Taybeh will be paved funded
by Palestinian Ministry of Finance at $250,000.00
North (3,300 meters X 9 meters wide)& South (3,100
meters X 9 meters wide) entrances of Taybeh will be
paved and widened funded by USAID over two million dollars.
Taybeh Voice Magazine continued to be published and
distributed (2006 & 2008) to keep Taybeh people
updated and connected.
Municipality Calendar developed distinctive characteristic
printed & distributed for the last four years (2006-2009)
and used a fundraiser.
